Friendship Tea

An oldie but a goodie.  A blend of delicous flavors that take you back.  A warm and cozy comfort drink.  During the holidays Jamie's Mom would mix this up and gift it to our friends and neighbors.

Friendship Tea

1 cup instant tea
1 1/3 cups Tang
1/2 cup dry sweetened lemonade mix
1 teaspoon ground cloves
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

In a glass storage jar or a plastic one, combine all of the above ingredients. Mix well.  At this point you can put the mix into smaller containers for gifting.  Attach a label with the instructions below.  Or just follow the directions to make yourself a delicous cup of friendship tea.

To make friendship tea, place one heaping teaspoonful of the mix into an 8 oz. cup of hot water. Stir and enjoy.

28184 Old Fashioned Lemonade

4 Meyer Lemons
3/4 cup sugar
1 Quart Water

Wash your lemons thoroughly.  Slice lemons into thin slices.  Be sure to remove all of the seeds.  In the bottom of your favorite aluminum bowl layer lemon slices sprinkled with sugar.  Using a potato masher, pestle or citrus reamer extract juice from slices.  Add the water and press slices a bit more until desired flavor is achieved.  Pour lemonade and slices into a pitcher.  Serve lemonade over ice with a slice of lemon garnishing the glass.

Serve at your lemonade stand or on a hot day.
